Appointments
To make an appointment, please telephone reception (028 9260 3111) between 8.30 am and 6.00 pm.
Normal appointments are for 10 minutes only and cannot accommodate two people unless agreed by the doctor.
Patients are registered with the Practice rather than an individual doctor. You may consult with any of the doctors by making a routine appointment. When making an appointment, you can express a preference for a particular doctor. If your specified doctor is fully booked or unavailable due to absence, this will be explained to you and you will be offered an appointment with one of the other doctors.
Interpreter services are available for patients whose first language is not English and for patients who have a hearing impairment. Requests for these services should be made through reception at the time of booking your appointment.
Urgent Problems
Urgent appointments are available every day and should be requested as soon as possible after 8.30 am. This will be with the first available doctor and may not be with the doctor of your choice. Please use this service with consideration. Try not to ask the doctor about problems which are unrelated or can wait.
Treatment Room
Nursing services are provided in Treatment Room 1 on Level 2. The Treatment Room is open during Practice opening hours except for Wednesday afternoon when it closes at 11.45 am. The nurses are available for taking blood samples, taking urine samples, checking blood pressure, giving injections, dressing wounds and removing sutures etc. Referral is usually by the GP.
